Yes, we are by-appointment only! Our gowns are not out to browse, and instead clients work 1:1 with a Stylist who pulls styles for you. Scheduling an appointment not only allows you access to try on the gowns, but it reserves your suite and Stylist for your visit.
5-8 months ahead of the wedding date! This is the industry recommendation for Mom to have all style and color options at their fingertips and eliminate stress around rushed alterations. Even if you are planning on your body changing, shopping in this timeframe is best.
Mother of the Bride/Groom gowns can take months to arrive, but we will always check and see if there are options available for anyone shopping on a tighter timeline.
Yes, however your party is required to schedule their appointment by phone with the salon directly. Each client will be scheduled for their own appointment to ensure personalized service, so keep in mind that one client will shop at a time in their suite.
If planning to shop with another Mom in the wedding, please keep in mind that the guest limit for your appointment allows for 2 additional guests total.
We only require underwear to be worn on your bottom half, and the rest is up to you! If you plan on wearing shapewear or a bra on the wedding day, please bring those items with you. A robe will be waiting for you in your suite upon arrival to stay cozy during your stay.
We cater to every level of modesty, so please don’t hesitate to ask your Stylist if you’d like to borrow a freshly laundered slip or longline strapless bra for more coverage.
Our Mother of the Wedding collection ranges in price from $500-$1775.
If the bride purchases their gown at Madeleine’s Daughter, all moms and matriarch figures in the party will receive 10% off their gown order at our salon.
Our Mother of the Wedding collection is sampled in a range of sizes, from 6-24, with the option to order in whichever size you need, often up to size 30.
A sample dress is never expected to fit perfectly. Your Stylist will help to clip and adjust each style as you go so that you can best envision the dress in your appropriate size.
Unfortunately, no. While our website showcases all of the styles created by our designers, there are simply too many to house within our walls! We have selected the best of the best to add to our collection. Since this inventory changes often, we do not have an “In Stock” filter available as you browse online.
As a full-service salon, clients seek out Madeleine’s Daughter because they wish to be styled by an expert for this special event. Your Stylist will use inspiration photos to get a feel for your vibe rather than a list of gowns to try on at your appointment as they may not be available for many reasons, including budget, timeline, and color availability.

Whether you are purchasing an item directly from our collection, or special ordering an item through one of our valued vendors, there are zero returns or exchanges at Madeleine's Daughter once your order and payment has been placed.
It's our goal to make sure that each client is madly in love with the items they select at their appointment, as opting to purchase is both a financial and emotional commitment to that item. We can always make note of items you wish to "sleep on" but cannot guarantee their availability or price at a later time.
