Lush, blush details, a modern-classic vibe, and a unique experience? We felt we were describing our own brand ethos when looking at the photos of the proposed location of our latest styled shoot. Tucked in the heart of Newburyport is the Ladyfinger's Tea Lounge; a dreamy, historic, and oh-so-feminine destination for afternoon tea or your next private event.
Both the pink and the white rooms were the perfect backdrop for the luxe, French-inspired vision.
The interiors of the Tea Lounge provided endless inspiration for the participating vendors of the shoot. From invitation suites, to the florals, to the gorgeous cake, each vendor focused on echoing the lavishly artful space.
Responsible for styling the attire for the shoot, we were thrilled to work with such a gorgeous space! For the bride, we envisioned an ultra-feminine style that allowed for fun finishing touches. A textured dress would typically be paired back to simple accessories... but this wasn't a typical photoshoot. We struck the balance of elegant and extra when we selected "Felice" by Neta Dover Bridal. This fitted gown is designed to flatter a woman's curves, and the 3D, micro-floral appliques gave this traditional silhouette a modern edge.
The accessories were selected to not only complement the gown choice, but also play-up the French undertones that drove the creative vision. Short, fingerless gloves with a near-matching floral applique, a string of pearl earrings, and a three-tier veil (delightfully named "Wedding Cake") added the bit of opulence that felt perfect for the occasion.
Of course, a bride can't say "I Do" without her ultra-chic crew. When it came to styling the two bridesmaids, we wanted to select a timeless fabric in a color and silhouette that wouldn't compete with the texture of the bridal gown or the gorgeous colors of the venue. We landed on two silky styles: "Bellini" and "Callista" by Jenny Yoo in the color ivory. Both are also sampled in the modern midi-length, a choice that lends an element of cool to your traditional bridesmaids lineup.

Paired with a pearl-embellished glove for a cleaner look, and heart-shaped sunnies for a light-hearted twist.
